Tangier Road is used as a through road from Eastern road to Copnor. Situated on this road is a college, school, park, residential homes and shops. The road speed is 30 mph however vehicles exiting Eastern road with a 50 mph limit are often continuing this speed. There have been numerous accidents including a recent care being overturned. The blind corner and where the road opens up next to the playing field car park are extremely dangerous to cross, especially with children. As a resident of this road trying to safety remove my children from the car onto the pavement is an everyday risk. Sentiments shared by other residents of Tangier road and Baffins in general.
