It gets extremely hot in the sports hall there are no windows to open and no cool air flow since the doors are no allowed to be opened, groups consist of children, elderly, dancers and fitness groups such as boxing, wing chun, football who all use the hall on a daily basis.
We would ask the council to either install some protected windows to allow fresh air flow, I’m certain there is a law that windows should be present. Or install an air on system to allow cool filtered air to flow through the community centre

At the request of the Community Association, Portsmouth City Council are to investigate possible solutions to the ventilation issues within the centre sports hall with a view to improving them.
The lead petitioner has decided to withdraw the petition.
