Deputations
Members of the public may make deputations on
items on the agenda for decision.
Notice of the intended deputation, stating
which agenda item it refers to and its purpose, must be received in
writing (email is accepted) by the Local Democracy Manager by 12
noon on the working day preceding the meeting.
Questions
Members of the public may submit questions at
a Council meeting, if notice is given in writing by 12 noon on the
eleventh calendar day before the day of the meeting.
A total of 15 minutes will be allowed at each
meeting for questions from members of the public on matters
relating to the functions of the City Council.

or democratic.services@portsmouthcc.gov.uk

Questions from the public are not permitted at
the Council's Annual and Budget meetings.
