Councillor Payter-Harris was appointed Chair of this hearing.

Councillor Payter-Harris declared that he had a non-prejudicial interest due to the fact that he previously sat on a hearing for one of the licence holders.  The Legal Advisor confirmed that this was a non-prejudicial interest as each application is determined on its own merit.

RECOMMENDED that the following motion be adopted:

"Under the provisions of Section 100A of the Local Government Act 1972 as amended by the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, the press and public be excluded for the consideration of the following item on the grounds that the report contains information defined as exempt in Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972."
