The panel will hear from Mike Quinn, the Managing Director of Medicine for the Clinical Services Centre at QA Hospital and Marie Edwards, the Strategic and Operational Manager, Hospital Services, Adult Social Care.

It was noted, with some disappointment, that due to unforeseen circumstances the Managing Director of Medicine for the Clinical Services Centre at QA Hospital, Mr Quinn, had given his apologies for his non-attendance at the meeting. The panel came up with two suggested dates for a future meeting with Mr Quinn - Friday 28 February from noon and Monday 3 March from 1.00pm - and asked Lucy to liaise with Mr Quinn as to his availability. Members also suggested Mr Quinn arrange for a deputy to be on stand-by so as to prevent the same situation happening again. Members were also amenable to the prospect of holding the meeting at QA Hospital.

It was noted that the next meeting of the panel had been arranged for Monday 24 February at 12.30pm and that the panel would be hearing from witnesses from AgeUK Portsmouth, PCC's Residents Consortium Link Group and Hampshire Domiciliary Care Association.
