Discussion on future topics for the Education, Children and Young People Scrutiny Panel

The Education, Children and Young People (ECYP) Scrutiny Panel members are asked to suggest and give consideration to potential review topics for submission to the next meeting of the Scrutiny Management Panel.

Minutes:

Mike Stoneman, the Deputy Director of Children, Families and Education suggested that a review into the provision of education for disabled children in the City would be of value to both the Panel and the Council.   This was an area that had been identified as requiring improvement by Ofsted.  It would also provide an opportunity to undertake a review that would integrate with the Council's Health partners.

He undertook to provide draft Terms of Reference as soon as possible.
