Issue - meetings

The report by the Director of Property and Housing seeks to appropriate the mobile home parks at Henderson Road, Eastney and Cliffdale Gardens, Cosham, from the Housing Revenue Account into the General Fund.  This report is presented as a result of the item on Members' Information Service (Issue 29, Item 3, dated 24 July 2015) being called in by Councillor Winnington.

RECOMMENDED that the mobile home parks at Henderson Road, Eastney and Cliffdale Gardens, Cosham be appropriated from the Housing Revenue Account into the General Fund, with effect from 1^st April 2015.

Councillor Winnington had sent in his comments which were read and noted by Councillor Wemyss, Cabinet Member.  The comments set our his concerns regarding future selling off of assets, but he supported the transfer of these mobile home parks out of the Housing Revenue Account and was grateful that this decision was being taken at a public meeting.

DECISION:

That the mobile home parks at Henderson Road, Eastney and Cliffdale Gardens, Cosham be appropriated from the Housing Revenue Account into General Fund with effect from the 1^st April 2015.
