To consider an individual application to "waive" the committee's adopted policy guideline and corresponding vehicle condition in respect of the upper age limit for private hire vehicles - 8 years.
To consider the continued renewal or otherwise of the private hire licence pursuant to section 48, Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976.

Consideration of the matter was held wholly in exempt session, with the driver in attendance and the simplified hearing procedure was followed.
RESOLVED that the licence be extended for a further year.
