Purpose.

The purpose of this report is to provide an overview of the Hampshire Minerals & Waste Plan: Partial Update - Draft Plan including what changes have been made, why these have occurred and what this means for Hampshire. This will form the basis of the public consultation which is scheduled for winter 2022.

RECOMMENDED that Cabinet

1.    Approves the Hampshire Minerals & Waste Plan: Partial Update Draft Plan as appended to this report, the details of which are set out in this report;

2.    Agree that Hampshire County Council carry out that Regulation 18 consultation on the Hampshire Minerals & Waste Plan: Partial Update Draft Plan on our behalf; and

3.    Give the Assistant Director of Planning and Economic Growth delegated authority to agree with the Director of Economy, Transport and Environment at Hampshire County Council to any minor amendments as necessary to the Draft Plan prior to consultation.

The Cabinet:
