Purpose
To update the cabinet member on the ongoing partnership between Libraries and the national charity BookTrust. Free books are gifted to children at two different stages before school and in the Reception year once at primary school. Additional packs are also gifted to children with additional needs.
Minutes:
The report was introduced by Jacqueline Garrard, Digital Inclusion Librarian. She gave a short presentation showing all the Bookstart packs available.
The Cabinet Member noted the report.
