Richard Lee, Regulatory Services Manager introduced the report and in response to a question that Mr Dobson had raised in his deputation explained that the council follows the technical guidance stipulates how a tube should be located.

Councillor Ashmore, Cabinet Member for Environment & Community Safety noted that the report will be submitted to DEFRA for scrutiny.  He was encouraged that there had been increased monitoring and that a new Area Quality Area Plan had been implemented as it was an extremely important issue.

DECISION

The Cabinet Member for Environment & Community Safety approved the publication of the 2018 ASR as attached as appendix 1 of the report.
