This report concerns the city council's partnership with Southampton City Council with regard to emergency planning functions. Recommendation It is recommended that the Cabinet Member for Environment & Community Safety approve the creation of a shared Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response service for Portsmouth City Council and Southampton City Council and a joint EPRR Board to oversee its operation, as outlined at paragraph 9 of the report.
