Exclusion of Press and Public

RECOMMENDED that the following motion be adopted:

"under the provisions of Section 100A of the Local Government Act 1972 as

amended by the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, the

press and public be excluded for the consideration of the following item on the

grounds that the report contains information defined as exempt in Part 1 of

Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972."

Minutes:

RESOLVED that the following motion be adopted:

Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 and/or Town Police Clauses Act 1847 - Consideration of driver licence matter - Mr W

An exempt report has been circulated to the members of the Sub-committee

only.

 

RECOMMENDED that the Sub-Committee determine the matter.

Minutes:

Mr W was in attendance and the simplified hearing procedure was followed.

 

RESOLVED that the application for a Private Hire licence be granted subject to conditions outlined in the exempt minute.

Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 and/or Town Police Clauses Act 1847 - Consideration of driver licence matter - Mr H

An exempt report has been circulated to the members of the Sub-Committee

only.

 

RECOMMENDED that the Sub-Committee determine the matter.

Minutes:

Mr H was in attendance and the simplified hearing procedure was followed.

 

RESOLVED that the Private Hire Driver licence be suspended for a period of one month for the reasons outlined in the exempt minutes.

Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 and/or Town Police Clauses Act 1847 - Consideration of driver licence matter -Mr S

An exempt report has been circulated to the members of the Sub-Committee

only.

 

RECOMMEDNED that the Sub-Committee determine the matter.

Minutes:

Mr S was in attendance and the simplified hearing procedure was followed.

 

RESOLVED that the Private Hire Driver licence be suspended for a period of three months for the reasons outlined in the exempt minutes. The Committee also agreed on a number of actions that the driver must deal with and produce to the Licensing Authority as outlined in the exempt minute.
