Declarations of Members' Interests

Minutes:

There were no declarations of members' interests.

The Cabinet Member welcomed everyone to the meeting (including Councillors Steve Hastings, Linda Symes and Lee Hunt who attended in the public gallery). Introductions were made by all those attending the meeting and the Cabinet Member advised that he had received deputation requests from Mr Steve Pitt speaking in favour of the recommendations on agenda item 4 and from Councillor Lee Hunt speaking in favour of the recommendations on agenda items 3,4 and 5.

Grant to Drayton Centre - Use of Drayton & Farlington CIL Neighbourhood Proportion Funds - update pdf icon PDF 86 KB

The purpose of the report is to seek the release of £43,000 from the Drayton & Farlington Neighbourhood Proportion of the Community Infrastructure Levy ("the Drayton & Farlington CIL").

 

RECOMMENDED that £43,000 is released from the Drayton & Farlington Neighbourhood CIL to fund roof replacement and insulation works to the Drayton Centre.

The Cabinet Member invited Councillor Hunt to make his deputation which he then did, speaking in favour of the recommendation.

The Cabinet Member said that the process for agreeing how to spend CIL money was the subject of a report to Cabinet that will seek to simplify the process. He was happy to approve the recommendation.

The purpose of the report is to seek the release of £900from the Central Southsea Neighbourhood Proportion of the Community Infrastructure Levy ('The Central Southsea CIL').
